BRMi Senior Director Trevor Brown instructs on RPA
BRMi will continue its partnership with James Madison University at the Harrisonburg, Virginia campus with another offering of Robotic Process Automation for the fall 2019 semester. BRMi Senior Director Trevor Brown, the course’s designer and instructor, explained: “We’re very excited as we have seen this pilot class move from 8 students in the spring of 2019 to over 20 students this fall. We will focus mainly on RPA but also include synergistic topics such as machine learning and chat bot interfaces. Culminating with the end-of-the-year X-Labs summit where we display some of these disruptive technologies.”
Robotic Process Automation is being taught through the university’s unique collaborative learning program, JMU X-Labs. The course covers a variety of business and education applications for RPA as well as the means and methods to intelligently optimize work performance by having humans work with robots across an enterprise from a central, end-to-end platform. Students will gain hands on experience using industry leading tools from UiPath to enhance the learning process.
