BRMi is partnering with James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, to create a student learning path for intelligent automation using robotic process automation (RPA). The initial offering of the course, Robotic Process Automation, begins this spring and is being taught through the university’s unique collaborative learning program, JMU X-Labs.

Robotic Process Automation will cover a variety of business and education applications for RPA as well as the means and methods to intelligently optimize work performance by having humans work with robots across an enterprise from a central, end-to-end platform. Students will have hands on experience using industry leading tools from UiPath to enhance the learning process.

BRMi Senior Director Trevor Brown is both the course’s designer and instructor. Robotic Process Automation is part of BRMi’s corporate commitment to its community and fulfilling the need for advanced education for its future technology workforce. BRMi will be helping JMU students solve real problems in the marketplace, learn real skills, and be ready to make an impact in the professional workforce as automation experts.

BRMi is an official industry partner of the awarding-winning JMU X-Labs. JMU X-Labs collaborates with distinguished government and industry organizations that give transdisciplinary student teams real-world experience. They invite industry professionals to submit real problems to be included in their curriculum.
