On November 7, DMS received notice of an award, as a member of the General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) team in a contractor teaming arrangement, for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Information Technology Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) vehicle. Following a technical evaluation, our team’s submission was determined to represent a best value for the requirement!
Through the issuance of task orders under this multiple-award BPA, which has a total estimated value of $1.7 billion under the management of NCI’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT), NCI divisions, offices, and centers (DOCs) will be able to acquire specialized professional IT support (e.g., IT operations and maintenance) to accomplish their complex, mission-critical goals.
DMS is excited for the opportunity to supply its services to NCI DOCs over the five-year ordering period, thus supporting their scientific, business, and administrative requirements and assisting them in achieving NCI’s mission. Our expertise and hands-on experience in the provision of IT services in biomedical research environments helped the team to develop and submit a winning proposal.
Special thanks to Dro DerMinassian, Jim Racheff, and other contributing members of the DMS pursuit team for their essential contributions on this successful bid!
