On September 11th, BRMi’s HR team attended a fascinating day-long seminar hosted by insurance brokerage firm NFP. Entitled “The Employee Journey,” NFP invited professionals from a variety of industries to present on topics such as employee engagement, fostering an innovative mindset, updates in the world of paid leave, and even cybersecurity.

The highlight of the day was the keynote panel on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Panelists included Tony Bond, EVP & Chief Innovation Officer of Great Place to Work; Garima Gupta, Director of HR at The Fund for Global Human Rights; and Megan Pierouchakos, VP, Humana Resources Programs, Talent Management & Development at the American Bankers Association, and during their conversation BRMi’s team and other attendees learned more about the best ways to encourage and grow the diversity initiatives already present in their companies. BRMi’s commitment to promoting individual growth is important for both client-facing and operation employees, and continuing education opportunities such as these go a long way to ensure that our employees stay passionate and invested not only in their careers but in BRMi as a whole.
